Grimm Birthday

1/4/99--the 214th birthday of Jacob Grimm.  Though we know the Grimms 
stole all their tales from women and changed'em around.  I can hear 
Angela Carter cackling as I type this.
happen to have been reading the intro to Katje/Blicero/Gottfried 
section.
As I reread GR for the 4th time, I still suspect that narrator-like 'we' 
is Pirate's surrogate-ism breaking through at times.  Of course, we 
don't know who the dreamer is of course. a-and never will...
