another p-dream

this one was a pip, all I can remember of it is not being allowed to 
take out a large fat orangey book out of the library, ostensibly a book 
of GR lit crit.  My mom was the librarian but it wasn't her who was 
preventing me.  I do remember the term going through my head as I was 
leafing thru the Book: "the cow as machine", strange.
And I do remember meeting the Clintons in their early days with a bunch 
of friends, not having the heart to tell him he'll be ultimately 
remembered for being impeached.
go figure
