Whether Frenesi is a bitch or a bad person doesn't seem much of an issue.
(Frenesi qua Frenesi was never the issue :-)) What I struggle to know is
whether the disintegraton of Fren's character, practically before
our eyes and not very explicably, is in any useful or satisfying
way a symbol of the shallowness and evanescence of the radical
student movement real or imagined. I would like to address the question
particualrly to p-listers who were undergrads in '68 or thereabouts and
are now  50 or thereabouts. Do you recoginze in Our-Lady-of-the-
Problematic-Sexuality any of the charismatic sexy media promoted student
leaders of your day?
