While following this thread, I keep wondering about Frenesi's particular
heritage - a familial lineage that is also, uniquely, a lineage of social
revolt.  Is Frenesi really just a "total shit" regardless, or might the
social revolt of the 60's and the ageless revolt between child and parent be
so entwined, that she is caught and spun between - exposed to the
Fonzi-gone-bad like charms of Brock Vond by her every-child's need to "turn"
on her parents?  The terrible consequences of which, cause her to then sever
herself from her own daughter.  "Brock can't "possess" her because she
doesn't even "possess" herself." I agree with, but I'd argue that she takes
anything BUT the "free and easy" path.
