VLVL [8] When BV possessed her

Isn't an ace in the hole one that you know of and intend to draw when the
need arises? Frenesi has turned her back on these resources. (DL and
Prarie) Look how she pines out the back window while DL rescues her.
(Quite different from when DL, fleeing her suitor, looks in the rearview
mirror and says goodbye to the West.)
(This Frenesi/Brock DL/Wayvone pairing is the thing I keep coming back
to. Who was saved? I think a good case can be made for DL.)
Talk about someone who walks in the golden light. Brock isn't the only
one with immunity to the bullets flying around him. Frenesi leaves quite
a trail of pain and suffering behind her and everyone can't wait to see
her again. But she is at least smart enough to know she's burned everyone
and doesn't expect them to welcome her back.

We can look at her as a machine or a piece of art or a symbol. I think
seeing her as a person is the most revealing. (I confess I don't
understand most of the other approaches.)
