Does Frenesi, as Paul says, lead "a charmed life." She's separated from a
daughter she longs to know, realizes the sickening depths she sank to in
betraying her youthful ideals, lonely, miserable, finds herself persecuted
again by the devils she's already run away from once. She wanted to lead a
charmed life, to live in that brilliant white light, but the choices she
made rendered that impossible. Despite all that, Prairie, Zoyd, the rest of
her family take her back in, redeem her, warts and all, through their love.
This is when her "charmed life" begins, when she is saved by their love.
