Besides the Cadmus story, the same motif shows up in the story of Jason.
King Aeetes requires him to plow a field with a yoke of brazen-footed,
fire-breathing bulls, then sow it with dragon's teeth, which would grow into
armed men which he then would kill. Morford and Lenardon note than the
teeth came from the Dragon of Thebes (the Cadmus story again) and had been
given to Aeetes by Athena.
