We WERE reckless.  I know I was.  Those of us with kids would never want 
them to "do what we did," but the exuberance of youth will not be denied.  
Those kids are gunna do what they want!

It's also funny that, though we're relieved to have made it through, we look 
back on those years with a certain pride for having had the boldness to be 
so reckless, and would never trade them away.
