"The" major themes?  I think there are major themes that don't easily fit 
into "enfetishment," but even as I say this I know that "enfetishment" is a 
large tent with numerous side-shows.  I do think that _The White Goddess_ 
contains a numinous side of V, which might be called "enfetishment," but I 
think would betray a deep cynicism of the S&M sort, which, now that I think 
more about this...  Naw!  I still think V.'s Real Abstract. Both. Mystical.
