My Kind of Town

Hello,

I'll be visiting New York City next week (8th to the 13th) and was hoping 
some of the Big Apple P-Listers could give me info on places or events that 
would have relevance to a Pynchonite. I know he was born in Long Island and 
lived in Greenwich for a bit but any thoughts on the places he is rumoured 
to have frequented would be appreciated. Bad ass case of hero worship? 
Perhaps. But I'm also travelling with a shopaholic and a woman who is 
intent on playing Crazy Eights for the majority of the trip. I figure I 
must as well drag them to a couple of places that will make them miserable 
to even it up.
