(uggghhh... ya know, i'm not feeling very GR-inspired at this week... having
more fun reading _Be My Guest_ by Conrad Hilton which i accidently swiped from a
hotel this past weekend)

the rest of this section all seems pretty straight-forward to me...

the description of Nordhausen sounds like something from a western. 

i doubt that Geli Tripping has much or anything to do with Hitler's suicidal
girlfriend. 

Slothrop gets Tchitcherine's boots.

more allusions to old movies. 

the POV of this section seems entirely Slothrop's. 

shadow juice? soft verdigris? bat-flittering?
