To CIA apologists is was not only NOT DISTURBING but was, as a story,
positively inspirational. Most people don't give the CIA that much
credit--for being able to pull off undertakings so secret and so
successful in meeting its purported goals.
Even Webb was amazed at what he thought he was finding out.
