Tolerance and Allegory

Hi Terrance--I really am anxious to understand the point Wood is trying to
make about P and look forward to reading him. Orders from Borders
sometimes arrive here the next day but this time I'm still waiting. I did
read the rather old piece by McHale and will reread it. Don't think McHale
gets at my "problem" with Pynchon. The "you" question in GR is a good
thing to discuss. I'm rather fond of the way P uses the second person. The
Luddite essay doesn't seem very promising.
