Mason and Dixon

Curious what inspired you to take up this topic. Pynchon, at
least in his Luddite essay, does not seem to come down on
the anti-computer/corruption of narrative side?
At least that's how I see it. I think he is concerned that
information will be mistaken for knowledge, maybe wisdom
(plato's issue)? I think M&D has the latest technologies in
mind. I think, if I were to try to write a thesis on this
topic, I would go for the Duck. Pynchon's warning in the
Luddite essay, is about the Duck.
