Amazon's Best of list

It might go mentioned that Amazon's Best of the Century (blah, blah,
woof, woof) is up and running, broken down into decades and fiction and
non-fiction.

Gaddis is nowhere on the list(s). Pynchon is represented by "Gravity's
Rainbow". And Updike makes the 90's. Eek.

DeLillo's "White Noise" does make the 80's list, and Powers' "Galatea
2.2" shows up, but no---

"Vineland"
"The Recognitions"
"V."
"The Crying of Lot 49"
"JR"
"A Frolic of His Own"
"Infinite Jest"
"Mason & Dixon"

The list itself can stand as its own editorial statement about itself.

Peace,
MAD
