GRGR(12) - Loonies on Leave

This title (LoL) fits Slothrop as well as it does the song and dance team of 
Nuts and Keepers.  All three, Slothrop, N.'s & K.'s share white attire, 
associated with snow/glacier and clinic, death.  In addition to his own 
association with this gang, Slothrop also has a hard time differentiating 
the Nut's from the Keeper's.  They're also difficult to distinguish from the 
first wave of corporate spies.

One thing they all (except Slothrop) do have in common is that they are 
selling Tools for Transformation.  Perpetual motion, or Entropy Management, 
are what the corporate spies are selling, transforming matter into motion.  
But the Nuts and Keepers are selling a tool that'll make Entropy Management 
passe:

This does seem to be the item/info that Slothrop is really in the market 
for, but Slothrop doesn't know that yet.

When he bolts from the Casino his mission  is never stated.  He goes to Nice 
and requests "Carte d'identite, passage to Zurich, Switzerland" from Der 
Springer's people.  Then in Zurich he tells his connection that he's in the 
market for information.  The reader has to assemble Slothrop's actions to 
determine his plan.  If we include his anger over Tantivy's death, revenge 
may be one of his goals.  He may be trying to get to the heart of Their 
intentions for him with a view toward wrecking Their plans.  Something is 
driving his actions, but that something is always kept unstated.
