Ooh...a toughie.

Gravity's Rainbow, to be predictable.
The Autumn of the Patriarch by Marquez, for those long, dense, evocative
sentences.
Crow - Ted Hughes. Bonkers, darkly comic poetry.
The Ticket That Exploded - Burroughs at his most liberating.
Death on Credit - Celine...funny...and pessimistic...and full of ellipses...
Our Lady of the Flowers - Genet's first and best novel.
The Infernal Desire Machines of Dr Hoffman - Angela Carter at her most
dense/surrealistic.
Absalom!Absalom! See same reasons as Marquez, above.
The Master and Margarita - Makes Anna Kanenina look like toilet roll in
comparison.
Remembrence of Things Past. For all the months of aching wrists I had while
reading it. Oh, and it's a pretty good novel as well.
