Though I somewhat disagree, I do admit DFW still is a one book wonder--If
Brief Interviews is what we can expect from the guy, ughh...how many writers
of today show some sort of growth from book to book--not many. Broom was
downright lousy, short stories are hit and miss.

There's so much beauty in Underworld--DD's crowning achievement, a nice
summary of all his concerns. Maybe it resonates more w/ this kid from NYC.
