david--what about Pointsman in all this? He, too sees himself as a hero, 
making his way through the labyrinth to face _his_ monster, the minotaur 
(i.e. the dog) in the earlier sections.  Pointsman uses Katje and Grigori, 
but who or what is _she_ in the Pointsman-Minotaur equation? Is it Impolex 
G, indirectly?
