That would be _Hang 'em High_.  No burial involved, though.  He is cut down 
by a "good samaritan."  Someone needs to do a dissertation on Christ 
symbolism in the films of Clint Eastwood.  _High Plaines Drifter_ comes to 
mind, also, in which the town is painted red.  I never saw the beginning of 
that film.  Is there a hanging involved in that one as well?
