Booker Short List

I read & reviewed Frayn's _Headlong_.  I quite enjoyed it -- British
professor of philosophy discovers what may or may not be a lost Bruegel in
his neighbor's house, and runs off on an art/historical wild goose chase.
Real depth in its treatment of art history, the Inquisition; less depth
philosophically.  And it's Michael Frayn (playwright of "Noises Off" fame),
so it's at moments riotously funny.

All that said, I'm still surprised it got the nod.
