GRGR(9): Location of the Casino

Did anyone happen to catch if the story mentioned where the Casino
Hermann Goering is? From that first sentence, which mentions "wood-soled
civilian feet", I thought it might be in Holland; but on p. 182 Slothrop
says, "...set foot on that France..." in a way that makes me think maybe
that's where they are. Other issues: Holland in December I think would
be way cold for their various beachgoing, octopus-fighting activities; I
don't really know anything about Holland's status as Axis, Allied,
neutral or occupied.

That aside, if they are in Holland there are some cool parallels between
p. 181 and p. 6, the one where Pirate is on his rooftop picking bananas
and notices a vapor trail over by Holland.
