Just a quote from Absalom, Absalom. When Quentin's grandfather goes to bail 
out Thomas Sutpen, he finds the court already in session and partially 
describes the judge as follows: "His eyes already glazed with that cessation 
of  vision of people who like to hear themselves talk in public." If you're 
from the South, you know the truth of the description. If you practice law, 
you've met this person.
TF-Sounds like Karl Marx, all this interest and commerce stuff.
