Heya -- just thought I'd mention that I stumbled across a substantial
excerpt of Parker's definitive Cherokee/Koko in RealAudio format at

in case you want to pass it along to the P-listers.  Unfortunately, all
you get is Bird 'n' Diz playing the head plus the first 32 bars of
Parker's solo -- no bridge -- but it still conveys some of the mastery
which obviously entranced TRP.  If this was mentioned onlist during the
GRGR discussion of the Disgusting Roxbury Toilet Drill, just send this
to the bit-bucket & accept my humble apologies...
