Remedios Varo & TRP (quibble)

Derek C. Maus asked about an earlier Remedios Varo exhibition:

My recollection was that it was at a public museum. I wasn't able to make 
it, but spoke on the telephone at the time with the author of the catalog, 
Janet Kaplan (??, I think -- about the same time she authored a nice, 
seemingly comprehensive book,-- out of print now I believe, but also highly 
recommended).

As I recall, the showing was 25-30 paintings, so the NMWA claim of "her 
first major U.S.
retrospective" probably means "her first *MAJOR* U.S. retrospective." My 
catalog and the Kaplan book are in storage at the moment. I'll check my 
memory when I pull them back out sometime this summer.
