Charlie & Dr Seuss

Two interesting weekend tidbits:
saw a documentary Charles Manson Superstar--low budget bio, but includes
lengthy interview with the wizard--what perked up my ears was Charlie's
rambling claim that the underground in America, it's outlaws, prisoners,
etc., those incarcerated for most of their lives like he was, are, in
similar words, the colonies are the outhouses of the soul. What are the
outhouses of America, if not its jails?
Mind you, this video is very pro-Manson.
Picked up from the library Dr Seuss Goes to War--I did like the stacking
turtles V-sign--lots of other great drawings within, culled from 'PM'
magazine which was very much anti-isolationist. Worth a view if you're so
inclined.
P.S. I did finish Little Sparrow: if Naumann's claim is somewhat accurate
and that the new book centers around a love affair Kovalesky had with
another mathematician or with someone floating around Hilbert's circle, then
this may refer to a Mr. H or a Mr. X, an unknown mathemtician that Sophia
was involved with, but whose identity was never discovered. Speculation was
that it might have been Guido Hauck, professor at the Technical Higher
School of Berlin-Charlotenberg. Haven't been able to find much on Mr. Hauck,
but if I do, I'll post.
