When the literature becomes poetic, it gets closer to music.  This is, of 
course, debatable -- like everything else.  One thinks of the composers 
Liszt, Wagner, Mahler, Debussy, Ravel, Stockhausen, Satie, R. Strauss et al.  
& the poets Rimbaud, Cocteau, Mallarmé, et al.
