Martha Cooley's 1998 novel *The Archivist*, which was recently recommended
to me by a friend and which I've just begun, might be of some interest. It
centres on a librarian who inherits the responsibility for a collection of
Eliot's letters to his lifelong friend, Emily Hale, written as the poet's
tortured marriage to Vivienne (who he had institutionalised) was falling
apart, and after Vivienne's death. The letters are supposedly sealed from
public view until 2020.
