Pluto was in Cancer from 1914-1939, Leni's sign (p. 154). According to
Sakoian/Acker, *The Astrologer's Handbook* (1973) Pluto (like Uranus and
Neptune) and his position in a special sign has relevance for generations -
no wonder, he needs 248 years to orbit the sun and is between 30 to 32 years
in one sign. He sinifies a deepgoing change in those aspects the sign he#s
standing in stands for. In Cancer, the sign of the family, nationalism lead
to war two times.
Before that, his position in Aries (1884-1914) showed many technical
inventions, Tesla, Edison, Bell, the car, the Wright Brothers -
communition, speed and movement - all aries things.
Afterwards we see Pluto in Leo (1939-1957), the sign of leadership. The
development and working with atomic energy is clearly plutonic. But we must
also see the big binary opposition between the two leading nations USA and
USSR under Pluto.
