... not "pushing" any "envelopes" that I know of, although that reminds me, do
have to get my Publisher's Clearing house entry in the mail. I may or may not
already be a winner (how's THAT for a set-up? Gentlemen, start your cheap shots
...), but, hey, I DO actually get a good deal on the Scientific American, so ...
but, no, not "regurgitating" anything, as I haven't quite swallowed (again, kind
sirs [the ladies here being apparently less inclined to insult] ...) anything
yet. Was referring to recent debate in re: rocket scientists, Nazi to NASA,
idealism vs. pragmatism, perhaps, as well as rightful reminders that Hitler, the
Third Reich was hardly the only hatemonger/hatemongering regime of note this
century, although they are a particular context for, a particular presence in
the text of, Gravity's Rainbow, the ostensible topic @ Th' List these days.
But I haven't been flashing my own politics, my own sense of history here,
displaying my own petticoats at this junction? Certainly, I've not made it
difficult for anyone to take a peek up the ol' skirt, that's for sure, nor have
I claimed that my undies are necessarily cleaner than anyone else's. If you're
hearing "slurs," "bully boy tactics," "facsist strategies" coming from me, might
I suggest you look for their source under your own floorboards instead, if I
might wax Poetic for a moment? But, then again, I really should question "I
know you are, but what am I?" as a tactic of, much less strategy for, debate
here (and/or elsewhere, although PeeWee Herman seems to have deployed it to
moderate success, but I know PeeWee Herman, and you, sir, are no PeeWee Herman)
