I must say that I was pretty disappointed with this book, having read it
last year after a long period of dormant anticipation. And don't think
it was just because of expectations raised too high. Had a few good bits
here and there, but over all a negligible read. I even considered
abondoning it mid-read, but pushed myself only because Mr. P. would've
wanted it that way.

I wonder if she's actually read it - 'cos after her reaction to _Even
Cowgirls Get the Blues_, I have a hard time imagining her liking this.
She's welcome to come back and convince me :-).
