Some stones are older than others, and some have been softened by the flow 
of water.  Most stones are very heavy in their "natural" state, and this 
alone requires our respect.  [Metal is also heavy, but it starts as "stone," 
extracted by man.]  Rocks are very hard, too, and break bones and shovels.  
They also make for very stable foundation bearing, as Jesus advised.  The 
EPA has also advised us of the potential for granite-born radioactive Radon 
gas in your basement...  It's only a matter of time before Radon is 
harnessed for burning in your microwave oven.
