... well, God (or whoever) knows what y'all have been up to since last I 
posted, but, finding a terminal at hand, a thought on kreplach. "So the 
assembly of the 00001 is occuring also in a geographical way, a Diaspora 
running backwards, seeds of exile flying inward in a modest preview of 
gravitational collapse, of the Messiah gathering in the fallen sparks" 
(V737, sorry, Bantam pagination not at hand).  Hm ... Diaspora ... Messiah 
... I'll leave the "fallen sparks" to someone better versed in 
gnosticism/kabbalism for the time being, but ...

But that "preview" might possibly be of anything from the post-brennschluss 
fall of the Rocket to the implosion of the shaped explosives surrounding the 
radioactive core of an atomic bomb (triggering the explosion thereof), to 
that "Big Crunch" at the end of a closed universe (and there was some 
speculation once that, if that is the case, time might well run backward 
after the universe had reached it's own brennschluss of sorts, had passed 
that critical, infinity-sloped point of it's own gravitic rainbow).  Not 
altogethr unapocalyptic, so far ...

And then, the kreplach.  Or, immediately afterward: "so have this Secret 
History of the Fearful"--who they?--"and others,"--again ...--"found their 
ways inside the weatherless spaces of this or that Ethnic Joke" (V738) in 
order "some secrets [...] to preserve against centrifugal History" (V737).  
Question is, what secret(s) here?  Not so sure this is such a "secret," but 
...

Recall those "heresies shining, unconfoundable ... and heretics there will 
be," inc. those "Manicheans who see two Rockets, good and evil, whoi speak 
to gether in the sacred idiolalia of the Primal Twins (some say their names 
are Enzian and Blicero)" (V727).  Agree that some sort of emergence, mabve 
even some sort of emergency, is going on here, and there does indeed seem to 
be something about reversibility/irreversibility, entropy, maybe, going on, 
but ...

But it seems to me that the Ethnic Joke here suggests something of the order 
that all is not well that ends not well, maybe something on that means/ends 
question.  Anyone?
