Right on, of course, who mentioned that backward gun-shot?,
that count-down in reverse, the second industrial
revolution's fall, the rise of the atomic age and the count
down is Lang's. The city is as important to GR as it is in
say, Blake and Rilke. Lang, Metropolis, UFA, is the source,
yes. That's why he is referenced at the end, in the theatER,
the ICBM's bang-big screaming. The centripital/centrefugal
history that some one hinted at is an important theme,
although I don't think the hints were very helpful, not
those on Gnostic sparks or ethnic jokes, at least I can't
figure any of it, never good with figures, ha, ha, but
anyway, Greta is Bliceo to Katje, V of course,
"Anti-Dietrich", again this is confirmed by chapter 9 of V.
With Greta the main source is Gershom Scholem, and I think
it was Mark that sent me back to Graves a few months back.
Greta impersonates and represents several mythological &
religious figures (white woman). She also maps onto other
female characters, including Katje. Note the windmill

the development of a single sexual cell (as an ovum or
ovule) without fertilization by union with one of the
opposite sex (which occurs, normally or occasionally, in
certain insects and other invertebrates, and in rare
instances in plants); formerly used more widely to include
asexual reproduction, as by fission or budding (cf.
agamogenesis).
Parthenogenesis is the form of procreation attributed to the
