GRGR(34) - New Dope

what's odd about GR to this reader was the strange feelings I had when 
reading certain passages that I felt I was "smoking the book"--I remember 
telling the gal who got me into Pynchon in the first place this and she 
laughed knowingly. Yes, your wife is a smarty, David. I'm envious...
