Been down and out from the list for a while (and still kinda am), but I was
going through my inbox and this quote caught my eye cause it reminded me of
GR's "counterforce", esp. the line about "unacknowledged desires for" order.
I remember getting into the last section of GR a couple years ago and
thinking, dangit, those silly counterforce fools are making the same mistake
all over again, still imposing an Us and Them form on the world. It's gotta
be just Us or it's the whole Maxwell's Pipedream again, hoping we can thrive
on taking from them and keeping for us.

Tangent: constantly looking at those LAPD bumper stickers "There's no excuse
for domestic violence" made me want to go down to the station and ask for
one. I wanted to put that sticker on one side, then make another one for the
other side that says "We're all kin". I thought this would also give me good
favor with cops who pull me over, but as my boss pointed out, the second
sticker would reveal my hippie leanings and no doubt encourage contempt from
the pig heart.

Still catching up,
