Snoops in the house.

So long, folks.  I'd been skimming the mail, waiting for the GRGR to
finish (thinking of resurrecting the suggestion that we do Been Down So
Long together, actually), but I'm now out of here permanently, having
just found out that not one but two people on this list have been
snooping on me.  

I realize that the list messages are public record, but I do not
appreciate my mail being forwarded to a certain nonsubscriber--the guilty
parties will know who this is--in an effort to keep tabs on me or to make
comment on my politics or person.  It's one thing to forward mail that's
of potential relevance to interested literary colleagues, but this is
quite different.  I resent and object to this kind of intrusion.

Lodging an official complaint with the list owner.
