Some of you may not have been on Pynchon-L long enough to know the 
EXTRA-LARGE contribution that Chris K made to this forum, and to the 
Pynchon community in general. List veterans will understand that her 
departure means we lose one of our better angels.  Some of you, who 
don't know her, may enjoy an opportunity to take a cheap shot, but I 
say that Pynchon-L will suffer from her absence. I don't intend to 
reply to any more messages in this thread. But I did think it 
worthwhile to speak up and acknowledge this passage. Chris, I hope 
you don't stay away forever, but I do understand why you feel you 
need to go. Best wishes.
