I beg to disagree. Faulkner's masterwork for peculiar yet multiple 
perspective, indeed for all purposes, is not "The Sound and the Fury," 
although it may be a close second. "Absalom, Absalom" is his masterwork. Of 
course, what do I know? I only studied and lived in Faulkner's backyard all 
my life, a-at least so far.

PS. I do not hate the South, I do not hate the South, I do not hate the 
South...where the past is not history. In fact, it's not even the past. Now, 
there's a peculiar yet multiple perspective if I ever heard one!
