Job opportunity for fellow hard-core obsessive?

This is a sad moment for me, probably one of the, if not the,
longest-surviving, continuously-subscribed list members--going on ten years now.
But I've _finally_ decided to hunker down and get at least semi-serious about
learning German, and something has to give. I'm not going to unsubscribe:
couldn't go cold turkey. But I won't be able to read much, or often, and that's
tough on somebody who generally has to commit to all or nothing. I'd like to
recruit someone who is as bad as I am, or worse, either a masochist or somebody
with boundless curiosity and a very thick skin, to watch out for those rare
gems that have made the (probably, no exaggeration) thousands of hours I have
devoted to reading the list worth it--more or less. I'd like to find somebody
already committed to reading _everything_ whom I could ask and trust to find
those relatively few messages (sometimes as few as one or two a week, but
sometimes one or two a day, with occasional larger flurries) that contain
genuine news, bibliographic tips or leads, and the like, and either forward
them to me or tell me what to look for from whom on the WASTE website. The list
is a great resource, and while I have been known to complain about its not
always beingused as effectively as some of us might wish, I have always thought
(and still think) the good outweighs the bad. Only now, I'm less sure I have
time and energy to cull for the good, but can't just turn my back on it. That's
why I'm asking for help. Thanks.
