Hey,  I subscribe to this list in digest form which only means two or three
emails a day. It's real easy to scroll right by some of the more extraneous
chatter, though every once in awhile there are some real nuggets there as
well. Though I am usually a lurker, I want to thank those p-listers a few
weeks back who were talking about William T. Vollmann. I went out and bought
Butterfly Stories, and now I'm hooked. Just recently purchased The Rainbow
Stories, Whores for Gloria, 13 Stories & 13 Epitaphs, The Rifles, The Ice
Shirt, and The Atlas, and ordered his latest, The Royal Family, from Amazon.
What amazes me is I never heard of Vollmann until some of the p-list side
chatter. That in and off itself is worth the price of admission ;-)
