(57) Perhaps the only reason they [TWSC] survived, Stencil reasoned, was
that they were not alone. God knew how many more there were with a hothouse
sense of time, no knowledge of life, and at the Mercy of Fortune.
----------
God has his/her limits according to Waldetar, who expresses a common-sense
perspective:
1. Events between the "living" are not in God's hands. They are in the
hands of Fortune and virtue. Fortune is a deity. (v)irtue [lower-case "v"]
is between folks. It is very puposely a lower-case "V."
2. God, in this equation, controls only the inanimate, the "no-soul." This
should inform you next time you pray. God has limits. God can only [Only
God can] control Mount Vesuvius.
3. Soul-to soul interactions are ruled by either _Fortune_ or virtue. The
small "v" implies a deity-less means. This might imply a natural order....
4. If Wars are in the affairs of "Souls," then in them God has no
influence.
Amen,
David Morris
