Energy is delight because God is Love and His basic Ethic is
the Forgiveness of Sins, O' God thou art Not an Avenger.
God's Mercy and Love is so Boundless, so Unconditional that 
We need even Atone for Our Energies and Sins. Following
Milton, "make a Hell of Heaven or a Heaven of Hell", in
Blake Hell is Satan's creation, where Mercy and Love are Not
present, what Dante calls DIS, but Blake  says there is NO
Hell, as in Dante, but that, as in Hamlet, thinking make it
so, turning one's back or mind, negating the Poetic Genius,
turning away  from the Divine Vision, which is God. In The
Marriage, the fires of Hell,  are the flames of inspiration,
even the means of Salvation, Milton and Blake too, all True
poets, even Jesus (Proverbs are for Paranoids and parables
are for children) are of the Devil's party, although, as
with Milton, without knowing it. Of course, Eddins is right
on to this when he says that, Pynchon, like Milton, is of
the devil's part without knowing it. He's talking about P's
great Satan, Blicero.
