GR and M&D related: telluric forces

..a-and of course Umberto Eco's "Foucault's Pendulum" has that great conspiracy
whereby the Rosicrucians are seeking world domination by harnessing the power of
earth's telluric currents, having built the great cathedrals of Europe (with
secret (naturally) transmitter/receivers housed inside them) at the nodal points
of these telluric pathways. I was immediately taken back to this when I read
M&D, with Jer flying down the laylines of Northumberland under cover of
darkness.
