my impression is that in all three - gr, v & m&d - the upcoming wind is
related to the rise of modernity.
maybe the missing link is here the "digital storm", trp names in the intro to
"stone junction" (p. xii).
though this seem to refer directly only to the consequences of the
"microelectronic revolution", the fact of digitalization is relevant for
modernity as such. its generalized communication media, most prominent and
effective: money, but also power, truth and maybe some more, are all based on
binary codes. either you pay or you pay not. tertium non datur.
this can easily be connected to the 'cognitive' quality of the element air.
