How can anyone love Pynchon's books AND believing such silly things?
If YOU don't read French, it's YOU that are losing. Well, not a war, that' right. But that
being the case, what need have you of Pynchon? You just need the brute force you (USA)
have plenty of.
I'm sure that such a nice person as DeLillo does not put himself above Proust or Beckett.
I'm sure that people enough smart to appreciate Pynchon's work can also see how Char or
Michaux or Celan or Zanzotto are better than Stevens.
