In the Kirghiz Steppes

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone has read John Wardell's *In the Kirghiz
Steppes*. It's a memoir of his years working for a British mining
company in southern Siberia, land which would be part of Kazakhstan
after the Soviet reorganization. He was there during WWI and the Russian
Revolution. I thought the book might provide some insight into
Tchitcherine's experiences. Also wondering, if anyone has access to the
book, what happens between pp. 129-144, which range is missing from my
copy.
