  Nice to see that there is more diversity than I thought at first. This is 
not an meaningless thing. Non american Pynchon critics have shown that 
providing an external point of view, another critical tradition, is really 
worth it. I'm thinking about Hanjo Berressem's Pynchon's Poetics here, for 
example. NOT because he uses French theorists (Lacan, Derrida, Baudrillard); 
but because it is INTERESTING and NEW (well, was new when the book was 
released). That how I propose we consider things.
