Another piece of kindling for the debate:

It seems Mr P can certainly get it "right" when he wants to.

Another thought: maybe when Saure shouts "Raketemensch" it's just an
oral elision of the final consonant sound in the interests of scansion
and intonation (like oral French, for example).
