I've never realised that Richard Farina's book had been made into a movie.
If it does exist, I would dearly love to see it on video. The chances of
coming across it here, in continental Europe, are, however, slimmer than a
skeleton. Still, I would like to know more about the production:
who wrote the screenplay, who directed it, who were the actors/actresses,
was it a big production with one of the big studios involved or a low-budget
production of the like-minded. Was it widely distributed in the US of A and
well received or got stuck in a few showings at a limited number of art
cinemas? Well, just about anything that is known - and that might possibly
be very little - about this movie, the very existence of which is quite a
surprise to me. By the by, is the book still in print and available? I'll be
grateful for any morsel of information.
